About Panel Takeoff
Built for Standing Seam Takeoffs
Panel Takeoff exists for one narrow job: turning roof geometry into panel-level standing seam quantities, material order information, and clear PDF reports.
Why Panel-Level Takeoffs Are Different
Standing seam roofs are not ordered from roof square footage alone. Every panel is a specific length in a specific location, and hips, valleys, pitch changes, and trim conditions change what has to be cut and ordered.
Panel Takeoff is focused on that problem. It starts from supported roof measurement files or a scaled roof sketch, calculates panel and trim quantities, and turns the result into a report and material order workflow.
Built From Insurance and Roofing Experience
Panel Takeoff was built by a former insurance adjuster turned roofer to solve the material quantity problem in standing seam estimates, supplements, and ordering.
The goal is practical: give contractors a report that supports office estimating, supplier ordering, crew planning, client conversations, and insurance estimate supplements without forcing standing seam work into a generic roofing calculator.
Supported File Path
Upload Hover ESX/XML or EagleView XML/JSON files to generate an Instant Report from provider measurement data.
Sketch Path
Sketch from a scale drawing or reference image, set pitch and edge types, validate the roof, and send it into Instant Report.
Report Output
Generate roof sketches, panel lengths, panel counts, trim quantities, material order information, and PDF exports.
What It Does Not Do
Panel Takeoff is not a CRM, labor estimator, shingle estimator, or general roofing suite. It is focused on standing seam material quantities.
